Summary

Join HPS Investment Partners as an Associate on the European Private Credit Team in London. The ideal candidate will have prior experience at a private credit platform or from leveraged finance / M&A / direct investments at a top tier investment bank, demonstrate excellent quantitative ability and modelling skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in top tier investment banking, consulting and/or investment background
• Passionate about investing and eager to learn
• Excellent modeling and spreadsheet skills, as well as quantitative ability
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Team player
• Strong work ethic, proactive and self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Developing financial models
• Conducting detailed business due diligence and evaluating deal opportunities to provide a recommendation to senior members of the team
• Preparing and presenting materials for discussion with the investment committee
• Interacting with management teams and key stakeholders
• Conducting detailed valuation analysis
• Monitoring investments and sector trends
