Associate Automation Tester

Summary

Join Raft as an Associate Automation Tester in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and contribute to building digital solutions impacting millions. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 0 – 3 years of experience
• Familiar with Java, React, Angular, Gitlab, RHEL, JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr & Python
• Must be able to use all web methods like GET, PUT, POST, DELETE etc
• Must be able to validate xml and json body using json parser
• Know how to use the OAuth and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms
• Must be able to Load and Security testing on web services
• Understand how to design and develop test automation scripts to create, enhance, debug, and run test cases
• Familiar with test automation guidelines
• Experience scripting
• Willing and able to obtain SAFe for Teams, ISTQB Test Automation Engineer, Agile Technical Tester, & Implementing Test Process Improvement certifications within a year of starting
• Active Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Analyze test results and coordinate with the development teams for bug fixes
• Analyze the underlying causes of performance issues and provide corrective action
• Develop an automated test scenario and environment for performance testing
• Review and recommend improvements in existing test procedures
• Coordinate with the testing team to develop performance test plans and cases
• Research issues in software through testing to validate feedback, response time, & error code
• Design and develop test automation scripts to create, enhance, debug, and run test cases

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe for Teams, ISTQB Test Automation Engineer, Agile Technical Tester, & Implementing Test Process Improvement certifications
• Good problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
