Summary
Join Altera, a leading provider of health IT solutions, as an Associate Business Analyst and play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance for the Paragon application. You will be responsible for analyzing healthcare regulations, gathering and documenting requirements, creating compliance documentation, defining user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with regulatory experts, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure that Paragon meets all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or other equivalent years of training and industry experience
- 2-4 years relevant work experience
- A strong desire to own, lead, and manage projects and activities
- Possible, may require travel for business needs < 5%
- Remote Canadian role
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret healthcare regulations, to understand their implications on software systems and business processes
- Collaborate with regulatory experts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather, document, and analyze requirements for regulatory compliance and system functionality
- This includes capturing both functional and non-functional requirements
- Create and maintain regulatory documentation, including compliance matrices, regulatory impact assessments, and requirement traceability matrices, to ensure alignment with applicable regulations and standards
- Translate regulatory requirements and business needs into clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that user stories are understood and implemented correctly
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, leading the facilitation of engagement regarding regulatory compliance initiatives and project progress
- Work closely with QA teams to define test cases and scenarios for regulatory testing
- Ensure Paragon meets regulatory requirements through comprehensive testing and validation processes
- Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on regulatory requirements, compliance best practices, and the importance of regulatory adherence
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required
- 2+ years practical experience in regulatory related work, processes preferred
Benefits
Salary Range $50,000 β $60,000 CAD
