Summary

Join Sprout Social's Sales & Success team as an Associate Business Operations Analyst and contribute to the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) plans. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze sales performance, and support operational initiatives. This entry-level role requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with business intelligence tools, and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting sales teams and exposure to incentive programs. Requirements

  • 1–2 years of internship or entry-level experience in business operations, sales operations, strategy, or a similar analytical function
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets and derive actionable insights
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of detailed go-to-market (GTM) plans for assigned segments, aligning with the global GTM strategy
  • Develop and evolve insights based on analytical assets for sales leaders, managers, and associates to drive business performance
  • Assist in creating and tracking quarterly business priorities in collaboration with Revenue Leadership
  • Help coordinate the rollout of short-term programs tied to GTM objectives and priorities
  • Work closely with Sales Operations Business Partners, Systems, Enablement, and Compensation to support operational initiatives
  • Participate in translating business needs into documentation used by cross-functional teams to align systems, processes, and enablement resources
  • Help implement and maintain policies related to territory management, mobility, and credit
  • Contribute to the design and tracking of key business performance metrics and dashboards
  • Conduct recurring and ad hoc analyses to surface insights into sales trends, capacity, productivity, and GTM effectiveness
  • Support planning cycles by providing data inputs for annual and semi-annual headcount, territory, and performance planning
  • Assist in the execution of role transitions to ensure all systems, permissions, and onboarding processes are in place for new hires or role changes
  • Help monitor sales capacity and support routines that ensure optimal coverage levels are maintained
  • Support ongoing projects aimed at improving business performance and operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting sales teams or GTM organizations
  • Exposure to incentive programs, capacity modeling, or CRM systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
