Summary
Join AudioEye as an Associate Corporate Counsel and play a key role in a hybrid position blending corporate legal work with support for AudioEyeβs legal support program. This early-career attorney position offers unique exposure to legal issues at the intersection of technology, accessibility, and compliance. You will contribute to the AudioEye Legal Defense Program by serving as a key point of contact for legal claim reviews and responses, collaborating with various teams, and leading customer legal support calls. Additionally, you will contribute to corporate counsel duties such as drafting and reviewing contracts, assisting with regulatory compliance, conducting legal research, and supporting intellectual property matters. This role requires 1-4 years of relevant legal experience, a Juris Doctorate, active bar admission, and strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements
- 1-4 years of relevant legal experience (law firm, in-house, or government)
- Juris Doctorate
- Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction where you will be working remotely
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cross-functional partner with the ability to support cross-team execution with Sales, Product, and Engineering
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key point of contact for legal claim reviews and responses related to digital accessibility
- Review and analyze potential legal claims directed at AudioEye clients
- Collaborate with legal, product, and engineering teams to assess claims and respond to customer questions
- Lead customer legal support calls with AudioEye customers, discussing claim resolution and litigation strategies
- Maintain knowledge of evolving digital accessibility laws and regulations (ADA, WCAG, Section 508, etc.)
- Support internal stakeholders as a primary point of contact for legal support program questions
- Propose and help implement process enhancements (e.g., claim evaluation prompt improvements, template iteration)
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including service contracts, partnership agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor agreements
- Assist with regulatory compliance matters
- Conduct legal research on corporate law, commercial law, and regulatory issues
- Support intellectual property matters including trademark filings
