Requirements

  • JD degree from an accredited law school
  • Valid license to practice law
  • Member of the bar in good standing
  • Meet applicable state requirements to practice as an in-house corporate attorney
  • 8+ years of law firm, in-house or equivalent experience
  • Healthcare regulatory experience
  • Exceptional federal and state regulatory research and interpretive guidance skills
  • Strong contract negotiation experience
  • Strong communication skills that can bridge the gap between legal/compliance and the business to find the right solution

Responsibilities

  • Provide interpretive guidance necessary for the rapidly expanding business
  • Take the lead on payor/partnership contract negotiations
  • Assist with other fast-paced legal initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Telehealth provider regulatory experience
  • Experience collaborating closely with Compliance
  • Medicare Advantage and/or Medicaid legal experience
  • Experience negotiating Provider Network Agreements and/or Value Based Contracts
  • Privacy and security experience (i.e., Business Associate Agreements and other data privacy legal issues/state consumer privacy laws)
  • Telephone Consumer Privacy Act (TCPA) experience
