Join Octagon, a global sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing company, as an Associate Creative Director (Concepting). Based in Stamford, CT, with flexible work options including hybrid or remote (East Coast hours), this role focuses on creating innovative ideas and branded content for clients' sports programs. You will develop platforms, campaigns, and stories that connect brands with sports properties through powerful ideas. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and executing various content formats, collaborating with designers and writers, and presenting ideas to clients. A strong understanding of the sports landscape and at least 5-8 years of agency experience are preferred. Requirements
- Current and review-ready portfolio
- Conceptual and tactical copywriting experience
- A love of sports and ability to deliver concepts that resonate authentically with fans
- Ability to take an active role in a collaborative environment and work as part of a team
- Experience in team-based concept development, including ongoing delivery of fresh ideas
Responsibilities
- Develop platforms, campaigns, and stories that help our clients activate their sports and entertainment partnerships
- Research and craft big conceptual press-worthy ideas and headlines
- Create smart and sticky digital activations that keep fans engaged
- Collaborate with designers and writers to move the idea out of your brain and into the world for brands like Budweiser, Delta Air Lines, The Home Depot, and PlayStation
Preferred Qualifications
At least 5-8 years of agency experience preferred
