Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5-7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or client finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of Media Planning, SEO, SEM, Programmatic, Social, Analytics, and Technology
  • Knowledge of rate card development
  • Ability to align financial plans with business goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in financial modeling and experienced with forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience with various ERP and financial systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Client Service, Sales, and other departments to develop client SOW contracts and change orders aligned with priorities and staffing needs
  • Oversee budget tracking, SOW tracking, and resource allocation reporting; provide regular financial updates to teams
  • Collaborate with Client Service to ensure accurate and timely billing for agency fees
  • Provide financial consultation to cross-functional teams, including during kickoff meetings, monthly tracking, billing, and actualization
  • Recommend incremental scope and staffing adjustments based on performance and business needs
  • Develop accurate recruiting forecasts and succession plans in partnership with Resource Management and POPS
  • Assist in pricing and negotiation of client fee agreements
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the Finance department
  • Support the annual budgeting process to align with company strategic goals
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term financial models and forecasts to monitor performance and support organizational success
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
  • Analyze key financial metrics and provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to track business performance
  • Optimize financial planning and analysis processes for greater accuracy and efficiency
  • Implement and manage financial systems and tools to support analysis and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Sheets and Google Suites
  • Experience in digital marketing, advertising, or other services
