Summary

Winona is seeking a remote Associate Editor with at least 2-3 years of experience in copy editing or related roles to shape the brand voice and manage multiple projects. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 or 3 years of experience in copy editing or related editorial roles
• Strong command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A deep understanding of the organization's tone, audience, and brand guidelines
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and proofread copies and any form of content across multiple platforms
• Ensure all published content is free of grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors
• Adjust content tone and style as needed
• Fact-check information and verify sources as needed
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Work closely with writers and content creators to refine their submissions, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement
• Assist with administrative tasks the team needs, keep systems up to date, and coordinate efforts to manage team deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
