Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA desirable
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, with a strong background in accounting and tax
  • Proven experience with financial modeling and forecasting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., Netsuite, or similar ERP systems)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience with tax compliance, tax planning, and working knowledge of tax regulations and reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and reports to provide actionable insights into financial performance
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, budget vs. actual reports, and financial projections
  • Assist in reviewing and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Manage and analyze tax-related issues, including compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, tax planning, and preparation
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors and internal teams to optimize tax strategies and ensure accurate reporting and filing
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure accuracy in financial forecasting
  • Evaluate business opportunities, investments, and projects through rigorous financial analysis and scenario modeling
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including coordination with various departments and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial insights and recommendations
  • Stay current with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimal financial management
  • Assist in special projects as needed
