Summary
Join GoDaddy's Field Marketing team as an Associate Marketing Manager and contribute to the success of our global events and content strategy. You will be responsible for coordinating event executions, content creation, and community engagement within the WordPress and web design community. This role requires strong marketing experience, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel. The position offers a hybrid or fully remote work option and a comprehensive benefits package. You will work closely with internal and external teams to achieve measurable outcomes and represent GoDaddy as a brand advocate. Requirements
- 5+ years proven experience in a B2B technical marketing role in a global organisation
- Strong written and visual interpersonal skills
- Willingness to have on-stage and on-camera presence where appropriate (conference speaking sessions, webinars, etc.)
- Familiarity and existing relationships with the WordPress and web professional communities
- Experience in building and running WordPress-powered websites
- Project management and prioritisation skills
- Flexibility to travel 40-50% of the time
Responsibilities
- Represent GoDaddy brand to a tech savvy audience of designers, developers, consultants, marketers, and web professionals
- Bring together, craft, edit, publish, and amplify original content and GoDaddy products/services
- Lead the content schedule for blog and social channels
- Attend/speak at industry events and WordCamps
- Maintain active online/offline presence in web communities
- Establish relationships with influencers, bloggers, and personalities
- Provide feedback between community and internal teams and identify potential contributors
- Lead conversations and find partnership opportunities
- Work cross-functionally on events, content, and announcements
