Associate Product Manager

Summary

The job description is for a Product Manager - Level 1 position at Bloomerang. The role involves contributing to the product roadmap for the Volunteer Management application, engaging in Scrum ceremonies, and communicating with customers, users, and stakeholders. The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in SaaS Product Management, agile methodologies, and technical acumen. The position is fully remote.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in SaaS Product Management required
• Experience writing requirements documents, product briefs, user stories, and other Product Management related documentation
• 3+ years experience with agile (Scrum or Kanban) methodologies and practices
• Strong technical acumen and analytical skills
• Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting in front of audiences

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition of the product roadmap for Bloomerang’s Volunteer Management application
• Create functional requirements documents, product briefs, user stories, and other documentation related to the enhancement of your managed product(s)
• Engage in Scrum ceremonies and play the role of Product Owner on the Scrum team
• Become an expert in the product you are managing
• Contribute to the constant improvement of yourself, your team, and product management team processes
• Ship features on-time that result in positive outcomes
• Create artifacts (presentations, documentation, training material, etc.)
• Communicate with customers, users, and stakeholders to identify and prioritize the features and functionality that should be included in the product

Preferred Qualifications

• Located in the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada area
• Volunteer management experience, or experience working as a volunteer
• Experience in the non-profit space

• Salary range of $63,000 - $95,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus
