Requirements

  • 2-3 years of product management & project management experience working with multiple teams OR have been in product adjacent roles and are interested to transition into product management
  • Have prior experience analyzing complex data, uncovering insights, progress tracking and reporting findings (BI / data analysis experience)
  • Have prior experience coordinating with multiple technical and business teams
  • Excellent problem solving, documentation, and communication skills
  • Independent and curious, you set clear goals, ask for help when you need it, and are always looking to learn something new
  • Demonstrated ability to learn fast, handle multiple and complex projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguity environment
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving field
  • Experience with rapid scaling of early-stage products
  • Intermediate to Advanced MySQL proficiency is a must
  • Proficient with Python, Excel, JIRA, Confluence

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with multiple functional teams - QA, Development, Web Crawling, AI, Product and Business teams - in order to ensure we are on track and aligned with high-level business objectives
  • Setup metrics, create dashboards and monitor app performance for a certain set of features and evaluate for potential improvements
  • Support overall engineering tasks related to dataset preparation projects, with minimal oversight
  • Track Product Performance
  • Query and analyse product data and events. Work with other Product Managers on data pull requirements for new feature development
  • Define data points & metrics across different product offerings
  • Setup dashboards to track these effectively
  • Setup process to continuously scope out data and tracking requirements for new features & execute them
  • Help product teams understand user behavior that would potentially inform improvements and new features
  • Internal Tracking & Reporting
  • Create and maintain feature progress & release trackers
  • Track sprint progress & completion, scope creep etc
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders
  • Manage the coordination over calls or async to ensure alignment with timelines and scope. Proactively communicate blockers, improvements or any ad hoc requirements
  • Develop Processes & Increase Efficiency
  • Identify & improve inefficiencies / bottlenecks in existing processes
  • Propose and implement processes/improvements to enhance product and engineering productivity and project outcomes
  • Manage Data Pipelines
  • Define clear and scalable processes for QA of data inputs and pipelines
  • Leading the QA effort for these teams with daily coordination meetings and progress trackers
