Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales compensation, financial analysis, or sales operations
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; experience with Salesforce and CaptivateIQ commission platforms are a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of sales processes and incentive compensation principles

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain sales compensation plans, ensuring timely and accurate commission calculations
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization
  • Partner with sales leadership, HR, and finance to support plan design and annual compensation planning processes
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and models related to incentive compensation in CaptivateIQ and Salesforce
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting on compensation metrics and sales performance
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to compensation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve commission-related inquiries from the sales team
  • Support the rollout of compensation plans, including documentation, training materials, and presentations
  • Participate in CaptivateIQ compensation system implementations or enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in SaaS, tech, or fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Exposure to organizations with frequent M&A activity is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with the CaptivateIQ commission platform is a plus
