Summary
Join Tines as a Deal Desk Analyst and contribute to the global scaling of deal operations, focusing on North America and APAC. This remote position, based in the US Pacific time zone, involves supporting sales teams in deal execution, shaping processes and systems, and improving efficiency. The target annual compensation is $115,000-$130,000, including a 10% bonus and equity.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in a Deal Desk role
- Understanding of SaaS business models, subscription-based pricing, and revenue recognition principles
- Extremely organised with a very high level of attention to detail
- Able to prioritise and project-manage incoming tasks while keeping cool under pressure
- A clear and thoughtful communicator when discussing and sharing sensitive data with a range of business functions
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deals simultaneously for multiple stakeholders
- Not fazed by ambiguity or uncertainty, and comfortable working in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment
- Strong MS Excel/Google Sheets skills
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand our pricing model in order to assist in designing, approving, and reviewing deals
- Serve as a trusted advisor and go-to resource for our sales teams and leadership on deal structure, quoting, and order form creation; advise on alternate contract options to drive deal closure
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and Sales to facilitate, process, and execute standard and non-standard deals
- Review in-progress and executed order forms to ensure they align with the opportunity information in Salesforce; advise Sales on proper SFDC entry and assist as needed
- Identify and implement process and system improvements to increase the overall efficiency of deal execution
- Multitask and prioritise effectively during periods of high volume, with schedule flexibility at month- and quarter-end
- Help support and improve our CPQ tool, DealHub, and the associated workflows
- Train and enable our sales organisation through engaging training sessions and first-class documentation
