Associate Software Engineer

Summary

Join Demiurge Studios as an engineer! Work on innovative games for PC, Android, and iOS devices. Collaborate with other engineers, artists, and designers. Strong programming skills and a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science are required. Experience with Unreal and/or Unity Game Engines, C++ and/or C#, and mobile platform development is preferred.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills
• Deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or similar discipline, or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Work closely with artists and designers to understand and define game features and system requirements
• Implement, test, debug and maintain source code
• Deliver high quality, functional systems to specification
• Collaborate with other engineers to develop and iterate on game features
• Provide ongoing support to artists and designers
• Make educated trade-offs among scope, quality and pace

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing software in a professional environment
• Experience developing software using agile methodologies
• Experience developing games with the Unreal and/or Unity Game Engines
• Experience working in C++ and/or C#
• Experience developing apps or games for mobile platforms
