Summary

ARETUM is seeking an Associate Software Tester to join their team. The candidate should have a good understanding of Agile lifecycle, proficient manual testing skills, and at least 3 years of experience in developing and executing test cases. A U.S. Citizen with Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is preferred.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to decompose complex problems and perform root cause analyses
• Work in a collaborative environment
• Capable of performing day to day activities with minimal direction
• Ability to self-organize, prioritize, and handle multiple priorities without compromising quality
• U.S. Citizen
• Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in developing and executing test cases in fast paced environment
• Proficient working knowledge and experience with Manual testing

Responsibilities

• Have a good understanding of Agile lifecycle and where and how testing fits across the lifecycle
• Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
• Analyse user stories and requirements to develop Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Cases
• Perform Functional, Integration and Regression Testing
• Have experience in Web application testing including UI/UX and backend testing
• Have experience in Mobile App testing on iOS and Android platforms
• Detect and track software defects and collaborate closely with other team members to resolution of defects

Preferred Qualifications

Active Secret clearance preferred
