Associate Software Engineer

Summary

ShyftLabs is seeking a Support Engineer with 1+ years of experience in supporting retail applications using React.js, Next.js, HCL Commerce, Spring boot and Java for their Gurgaon & Noida locations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the mentioned technologies and experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. ShyftLabs is a growing data product company that focuses on creating value through innovation for Fortune 500 companies. The Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and managing retail systems, monitoring daily processes, debugging/analyzing issues, leading priority calls, and working on incident/service requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Experience in WebSphere Commerce v7.0, v8.0
• Good understanding of WCS architecture
• Experience with various sub systems of WCS i.e., catalog, order, member, promotion etc
• Experience in SOLR, WCS SOA, REST framework, Data Load and Data extract
• Database programming skills using Oracle or DB2
• Experience in software development lifecycle and familiar with agile methodologies
• Experience with Java, JSP, EJBs, JMS, web services, XML processing tools, JSON, JSTL, Struts, JavaScript and HTML development skills - Comfortable MVC & Commands Patterns
• React experience using Next and Node JS
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Experience with Spring boot
• Experience in monitoring tools like New Relic, Cloud watch, Sentry etc

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and managing retail systems for day-to-day activities
• Monitoring daily processes and fixing issues in case of failures
• Debugging/Analyzing issues and document RCAs
• Leading priority calls like P1 and P2
• Working on incident/Service requests
