Summary

Join Boulay's Audit Team as an Audit Senior or Supervisor and contribute to the attestation of clients' financial reporting. This role involves examining financial records, performing complex attestation services, assisting clients with accounting transactions, and managing internal teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 150 credit hours
  • 2+ or 4+ years of progressively challenging Public Accounting experience   (Depending on position)
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in various accounting and other software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong working knowledge of all areas of the general ledger
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement procedures and the ability to distinguish between material and immaterial items
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and knowledge of review, compilation, and auditing standards

Responsibilities

  • Review and possibly oversee all phases of compilations, reviews, and audits of financial statements
  • Perform more complex attestation services, including, but not limited to: accrued liabilities, investments, and inventory
  • Assist the client with complex accounting transactions and manage internal teams for successful completion
  • Review the workpapers for completeness and accuracy
  • Delegate and oversee the initial preparation and set-up of client files and engagement letters
  • Develop a work plan and timeline for the engagement and delegate work accordingly
  • Review sample sizes and transactions to be tested
  • Work effectively within given budgetary parameters
  • Prepare and review client financial statements and related documents
  • Research and prepare memos on technical issues
