Summary

Join Aprio's Audit Team as a Senior Audit Associate and help clients maximize their opportunities. This role involves performing audits, preparing work papers, managing client engagements, and compiling financial statements. You will communicate financial information effectively and build strong client and coworker relationships. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting (master's preferred), a CPA license (preferred), 3-5 years of public accounting experience, and expertise in manufacturing and/or construction. Requirements

  • 4-year bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience working for a public accounting firm
  • Understanding and applying Excel skills
  • Successfully using CaseWare or other audit software
  • Demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Working effectively and personably within a team

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and skillfully performing audits
  • Preparing audit work papers and adjusting trial balances
  • Utilizing time management to plan and schedule client engagements
  • Assembling trial balances and compiling financial statements into a written report to be presented
  • Effectively communicating the accuracy of financial statements and other financial information to clients and co-workers
  • Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients
  • Traveling to some client sites

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s degree preferred
  • Licensed CPA preferred
  • Developed specialties in Manufacturing and/or Construction
