Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Actively working towards obtaining your CPA license; current CPA license a plus
- 4+ years of recent work experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm
- Exposure servicing a broad range of industries including, but not limited to manufacturing and distribution, technology, real estate, 401k, yellow book and life sciences
- Complete various assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Excellent at project management and possess analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation
- Possess and demonstrate strong understanding and alignment with our firm’s core values of Honesty and Candor, Continual Learning, Innovation, Mentorship, Leadership, Team Player and Commitment to Client Service
Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out audit, accounting, and other consulting and attest services to clients
- Coordinate service activities with clients and oversee staff accountants
- Successfully handle complex accounting issues and specialized assignments
- Maintain proper documentation in accordance with firm policies and auditing standards
- Run large and complex engagements while supervising staff or run several smaller engagements simultaneously
- Develop new client relationships and enhance current relationships by providing excellent customer service
- Excel in a dynamic work environment servicing a variety of clients
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
