Azure Managed Services Consultant

Summary

Requirements

• Identity and Access Management: SME for Entra ID, Azure active Directory Federation Service (ADFS)
• Active Directory: Should have real-world experience helping to managing and maintaining AD, Entra ID integration, GPO's, etc
• Azure: Should have experience with Entra ID, Intune, Cloud App Security, Conditional Access
• Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, Networking required
• Expertise in Azure and related core technologies including but not limited to Active Directory, Cloud Identities, Virtual Machines, Networking and Firewalls, Database and File management, Azure Functions, Azure Design and Architecture, Azure Virtual Desktop, and any number of additional Azure technology support are required
• US Citizenship (clearable) is required

Responsibilities

• Surface and analyze customer business requirements
• Translate requirements into an architectural design and influence the deployment of key infrastructure components
• Design, construct, configure, and maintain all facets of an Azure Tenant
• Plan and execute an end-to-end implementation of the target workloads
• Maintain a thorough understanding of existing and emerging Azure and related core technologies
• Be up to date on new technologies within Azure that could benefit customers
• Understand and be comfortable with multiple Azure technologies/products and be able to assist clients in the exploration, initial setup, and support of those technologies
• Help to foster the long-term relationship and partnership with our clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes, containers, and networking highly desired
• Governance experience is preferred
• Azure automation, Azure Monitoring
• Security: Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and custom KQL queries
• Any Microsoft or Technical certifications are a positive and should be noted, especially related to the core technology stack of Azure
• Desired SME skillset for a few select technologies that you could ask as the team's internal expert and escalation point for. (Example - Infrastructure as a code, AKS, VMware, Linux, Database, Azure Compute, Azure Security, AVD, etc.)
