Requirements
- Proven experience in back-end development, building and maintaining complex systems and APIs
- Experience in languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS
- Understanding of scalability, performance tuning, and caching strategies
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize back-end services, APIs, and systems that power GoDaddyβs applications
- Work with distributed systems and microservices to create scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end engineers, and data teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices in software development
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure system reliability and uptime
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions, influencing the technical direction of our platforms
