Requirements

• Proven experience in back-end development, building and maintaining complex systems and APIs
• Experience in languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS
• Understanding of scalability, performance tuning, and caching strategies
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize back-end services, APIs, and systems that power GoDaddy’s applications
• Work with distributed systems and microservices to create scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end engineers, and data teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices in software development
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure system reliability and uptime
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions, influencing the technical direction of our platforms
