Back End Software Engineer II

Summary

Join Abnormal Security's Dev Accelerator team as a Backend Engineer. This team focuses on improving engineering capabilities through AI tools, refining the development environment, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. The role involves evolving development infrastructure, building a cutting-edge testing framework, and defining best practices for service development. This is a critical role within a team of 250 engineers, leveraging the power of AI for enhanced efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with relevant technologies and a proven track record of production support and system design.

Requirements

• 3+ years working on relevant tech stacks - Python (Django) and Go, MySQL & PostgreSQL databases, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Kafka
• 2+ years of production support experience for enterprise-class customers
• At least 1+ years of system design experience

Responsibilities

• Evolve Dev Infrastructure: Continuously refine our development environment to adapt for emerging technologies, especially Generative AI tools
• Develop a Cutting-Edge Testing Framework: Ensure that teams can deliver high-quality, reliable software at speed
• Define the right way to build: Provide well-defined templates for various service types to simplify and accelerate development
