Backend Developer

Summary

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Back-End Engineer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Familiarity with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling
• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient server-side applications using Python
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including but not limited to Jira, ServiceNow, and Freshdesk, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure reliability
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating with platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, and Freshdesk
• Knowledge of writing user prompts for AI-driven features
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with the Vue.js framework
• Experience with TypeScript
