Join Xometry's expanding IT team as a Backend Software Developer! This remote or flex-office (Munich/Leipzig) position offers active feature ownership, contributing to the development of our Ruby on Rails/React/GraphQL platform. You'll collaborate with a team of 50+ in a fast-paced environment, deploying updates daily. The role requires strong backend experience with Ruby on Rails and related technologies. Requirements

• Web development experience, including complex projects and structured teamwork
• Strong backend experience: Ruby on Rails and relevant stack (PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Redis, general Linux experience, Git, etc.)
• Strong soft skills and teamwork orientation
• Sufficient English for an international company

Responsibilities

• Core platform development on Ruby on Rails
• Feature ownership: discuss features in teams, investigate, work out solutions, implement & deploy. Soft skills and self-organizing are a must
• Active participation in product decisions and architecture, features design and task prioritizing

Preferred Qualifications

Python experience (we create minor microservices / scripts in Python)
