Behavioral Health Virtual Medical Director

Summary

Join One Medical as a Virtual Medical Director and lead your virtual team in demonstrating clinical excellence and practice sustainability. As a leader, you'll manage a remote team of behavioral health providers, guide and support provider professional development, and partner with operations manager to drive results and achieve operational performance goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience managing a team of providers and clinical program leadership experience
• Must have an active license in California
• Must be either a licensed Clinical Psychologist PhD, PsyD or EdD in Psychology
• Experience with providing evidence based psychotherapeutic interventions/approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapies (ACT, CBT, DBT), brief interpersonal therapy and/or other evidenced short term models
• Able to provide professional CME presentations to various internal and external audiences
• Willing to work in Pacific time zone
• Willingness to be credentialed by our Health Service Partner

Responsibilities

• Managing a remote team of behavioral health providers (Therapists, Care Managers and Psychiatric Consultants) and ensuring that the providers on your team meet our clinical standards and patient care needs
• Guiding and supporting providers’ professional development
• Partnering with operations manager to support a collaborative, positive provider community
• Managing communication, with context, between your team, other mental health teams and primary care teams throughout the organization; represent One Medical to the local community
• Owning specific team management and HR functions
• Participating and facilitate in weekly rounds with the team
• Collaborating with teammates via daily zoom huddles, as well as with broader clinical team including primary care providers, care managers, and psychiatric consultants
• Partner with operations manager to drive results and achieve operational performance goals
