Summary
Join Turing, a rapidly growing AI-powered tech services company, as their Benefits Specialist! As part of the People Ops team, you will manage vendor relationships, benefit systems, and processes for global benefit programs. You will also play a key role in shaping Turing's benefit policies and standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. You will collaborate with various teams, including Finance, Legal, and Information Security. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in benefits administration. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in benefits administration and/or total rewards
- Working knowledge of relevant employment laws (e.g., FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA) and experience ensuring compliance
- Experience collaborating with Legal, Compensation, Stock Administration, or Payroll stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Manage vendor relationships for benefit programs in the US, India, and Brazil
- Negotiate contracts with benefits providers and brokers
- Monitor performance and ensure service level agreements are met
- Oversee the day-to-day management and optimization of Benefit Portals and Systems (ADP, Sequoia, and Carta)
- Enforce, modify, and create benefit policies, collaborating with other teams
- Administer employee leave programs (e.g., FMLA, disability)
- Maintain the US visa and immigration program (H-1Bs and green cards)
- Conduct regular audits of employee benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Respond to benefit or policy-related tickets
- Develop and distribute employee communications about benefits and policies
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR Certification
- Experience working with a global benefits program or EOR program
- Proficiency in building reports and analyzing benefits data for actionable insights
- Familiarity with integrations and workflows to optimize HRIS and benefits systems
