Summary

Bixal is hiring a Bilingual Senior Communications Specialist to join their team and help accelerate digital transformation for federal and international clients. The role involves managing human-centered outreach and marketing activities, conducting stakeholder engagement efforts, creating and executing social media strategies, and developing content tailored to identified audiences. The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in strategic communications or a related field, be fully bilingual in Spanish and English with native proficiency, and possess excellent organizational skills and writing abilities.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of experience in strategic communications or a similar field
• Must be fully bilingual in Spanish and English with native proficiency in both languages in speaking, reading and writing
• Demonstrated understanding of the make-up and needs of Spanish-speakers/Hispanics in the United States, including common cultural values and information consumption patterns
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills – ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences
• Excellent organizational skills – ability to manage multiple content calendars
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Knowledge of best practices for social media engagement
• Demonstrated experience with digital content creation writing principles and organization for readability and assistive technology
• Experience in public relations, media and marketing
• Experience with gathering and distilling SEO data

Responsibilities

• Create and manage outreach strategies in collaboration with a broader outreach team
• Conduct stakeholder engagement efforts to understand diverse user needs
• Develop content (includes creation, editing and publishing relevant content based on stated objectives) to support outreach strategies tailored to identified audiences
• Leverage analytics tools and platforms to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and use the metrics to recommend improvements
• Develop and execute social media strategies as part of overall outreach efforts
