Join Foresight Diagnostics as a Bioinformatics Scientist to develop algorithms for cutting-edge detection of circulating tumor DNA and contribute to the strategy of Foresight’s research programs. As a key member of our team, you will work cross-functionally with wetlab scientists to design experiments and interpret results, leveraging your expertise in genomics, molecular diagnostics, and liquid biopsy.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, statistics, computer science, or related fields
• At least five years of experience developing next-generation sequencing (NGS) data pipelines
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills, leveraging relevant Python or R packages
• Experience with algorithm development and statistics
• Proficiency with Python, R, or similar programming languages

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for cutting-edge detection of circulating tumor DNA
• Extract biological signals from complex molecular data, leveraging machine learning and statistics
• Work cross-functionally with wetlab scientists to design experiments and interpret results
