Summary

Join RAZR, a marketing technology company, as a Part-time Bookkeeper working approximately 20 hours per week. You will manage the Executive’s personal finances and bookkeeping for two small businesses, one in commercial real estate and the other in horse sales. Responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, account reconciliations, cash flow management, journal entries, financial reporting, and cost analysis. The position is remote with the option to work from the Minnetonka, MN office. Candidates must reside in the Twin Cities area. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks, and at least 3 years of accounting experience.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Excel including use of VLookup and Pivot Table functionality
  • Familiar with QuickBooks & Quicken software and journal entry preparation and posting
  • Minimum of 3 years accounting experience
  • Account Reconciliation experience
  • Reporting Analysis experience

Responsibilities

  • Record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered in QuickBooks
  • Process payments in accounts payable system and issue checks on a weekly basis or as needed
  • Process other payments online (direct payments and/or via credit card)
  • Record activity for company T&E Card
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Misc AP, Due to/from accounts as assigned
  • Perform other month-end duties such as journal entries and reporting
  • Gather and compile cost information and perform cost analysis on accounts or vendors as identified
  • Reconcile all bank accounts and credit card statements
  • Perform general recordkeeping work, which may include entering data and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents of amounts due for items purchased or services rendered
  • Prepare budgets and monthly financials
  • Work with external accounting firm on estimated taxes and year-end taxes
  • Other accounting or reporting related duties, as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with real estate accounting preferred
