Brand Communications Designer

Summary

Join Synthesia, a rapidly growing AI video communications company, as a Mid to Senior Designer. You will play a key role in elevating brand communications across internal and external channels. Responsibilities include designing presentations, creating sales enablement materials, collaborating with various teams, and maintaining brand assets. The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years of design experience in a corporate or tech environment, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in various design software. Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience doing design work in a corporate or tech environment
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating visually compelling presentation decks and internal communication materials
• High proficiency in: Google Slides, Pitch, PowerPoint, and Keynote (expertise in template creation, setup, and optimization is essential)
• Proficiency in Figma (for both presentation and brand asset design)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator, mainly)
• Deep understanding of how to structure presentations for clarity, impact, and consistency, ensuring a seamless user experience for teams using templates
• Strong knowledge of print production workflows, including file preparation, color management, resolution requirements, bleed and trim specifications, and various printing methods and materials
• Ability to communicate both in writing and in person with people at all levels of the company
• Confidence to act as a brand and design guardian, providing constructive feedback on briefs to maintain design best practices
• Ability to collaborate with others and take ownership of projects and drive them to completion

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain presentation decks, ensuring they are visually compelling, on-brand, and effectively communicate key messages across the organization
• Create high-impact sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, proposal templates, one-pagers, and other sales collateral that support business development efforts
• Create compelling presentations for internal communications and help prepare decks for speaking engagements at industry conferences and events
• Design engaging materials for company-wide meetings, team-building offsites, quarterly planning sessions, and special internal events to strengthen company culture
• Design professional presentations for Synthesia's own customer events and ensure a strong brand presence when speaking at industry conferences
• Be the guardian of our internal template and asset management. Create and optimize seamless templates primarily in Google Slides and Pitch, but also ad hoc on PowerPoint, Keynote, and Figma
• Maintain our Notion Brand Hub and Brand Google Drive with clear, organized structures that help teams quickly find and use our brand assets
• Work with the People team to design internal-facing creative assets, including employer branding materials, event visuals, internal portals, templates, swag, and more
• Design print materials such as event stands, marketing collateral, and branded merchandise to enhance our presence at conferences, trade shows, and other corporate events
• Define, evolve, and maintain high standards for brand communications design, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience across all touch-points
