Summary
Join Humi, a Canadian employment platform that helps businesses be better employers, as a Brand Lead and play a key role in establishing Humi powered by Employment Hero as the authority on employment in Canada. You will drive growth through brand fame, creative campaigns, compelling content, and stand-out events. This role focuses on shaping the local brand story, elevating brand presence in Canada, and fostering brand loyalty among target audiences. You will be responsible for growing the brand in Canada, building mental availability, differentiating Humi in the market, leading the development of compelling brand narratives, developing distinct yet connected campaigns, enhancing the understanding of target audiences, overseeing content planning, campaign development and creative direction, continuously assessing and reporting on effectiveness and ROI, working with other members of the Marketing Team across all markets to share best practices, collaborating with other teams within the business, leading and mentoring a growing team.
Requirements
- Proven experience working for a startup or scaleup
- 8+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced marketing environment
- Hands on experience leading high-performance content, brand and event teams, including brand strategy and execution across digital channels and events
- Ability to generate and synthesize actionable customer and market insights, using data analysis, customer feedback and research to inform content strategies, improve targeting, and drive business decisions
- An understanding of digital marketing channels (such as SEM, SEO, Display, Social Media, Affiliate and Email) as well as non-digital channels
- Proficiency with marketing analytics and automation technology such as Google 360 Suite, Braze, Salesforce and/or Marketo
- Demonstrable experience reporting campaign effectiveness
- An obsession with SMB customers and a strong drive for excellence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Growing our brand in Canada, building mental availability and differentiating us in the market
- Leading the development of compelling brand narratives that resonate with SMBs, ensuring consistency and alignment across all content (owned, paid, earned) and channels (website, social, PR, media)
- Developing distinct yet connected campaigns that build trust and preference among Canadian SMB employers (B2B) while growing awareness and usage of our platform among job seekers (B2C)
- Enhancing our understanding of target audiences, overseeing content planning, campaign development and creative direction
- Continuously assessing and reporting on effectiveness and ROI
- Working with other members of the Marketing Team across all of our markets to share best practice
- Collaborating with other teams within the business, including Product, Sales, Commercial Operations and CX
- Leading and mentoring a growing team
