Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently
  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, modeling tools, and documentation
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software development lifecycle
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Ensure that requirements captured are clear, complete, and actionable
  • Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization. Propose solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
  • Create detailed use cases, user stories, and mockups to illustrate software functionality and user interactions
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize and manage requirements based on business value and project constraints
  • Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and program teams. Ensure a shared understanding of project goals and requirements
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, use cases, and project-related materials
  • Manage and document changes to project scope, requirements, and objectives throughout the project lifecycle
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software development and business analysis. Suggest and implement process improvements
