Business Analyst

Summary

Join Elite Technology, a leading technology company serving law firms, as a Business Analyst. In this role, you will drive business process improvements for Elite's financial SaaS solutions, leading analysis efforts, mentoring junior analysts, and taking ownership of the business process architecture. You will collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to discover, analyze, and document business requirements, define and document personas, analyze and map business processes, and work with cloud architects and engineers to align business processes with SaaS automation and cloud-native capabilities. You will also partner with engineers and product teams during the SDLC to ensure requirements are correctly integrated into the financial SaaS solutions, develop and maintain a knowledge base of system behaviors, business logic, and common financial configurations, and define documentation standards for reuse across different teams. This role requires advanced expertise in business analysis, continuous improvement, and a strong analytical approach to enhancing business processes, with a particular focus on SaaS software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience with SQL
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on SaaS software and/or financial applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques
• Experience in use of data analytical and reporting tools as support for analytical work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools
• Strong ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex technical and financial discussions
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence product roadmaps and business priorities
• Experience in applying software QA methodologies and tools to ensure comprehensive test execution

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering team members to discover, analyze and document business requirements for financial SaaS solutions
• Be able to define and document personas according to most used configuration patterns in the system
• Analyze and map business processes to identify areas for improvement
• Work with cloud architects and engineers to align business processes with SaaS automation and cloud-native capabilities
• Partner with engineers (Developers & QA) and product teams during SDLC to ensure requirements are correctly integrated into our financial SaaS solutions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of system behaviors, business logic, and common financial configurations
• Define documentation standards to be reused across different teams, like support and engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) will be considered as a differential
• Prior experience with Public Cloud solutions (preferrable Azure, or AWS, GCP) will be considered as a differential
