Summary

Join Wpromote as a Director, Business Analyst and lead analytics, reporting, and media insights for the development and execution of business strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven intelligence to inform decision-making, optimize performance, and identify new opportunities for growth. The anticipated annual salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $180,000, with an annual performance bonus included in the total compensation package.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years experience in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or Statistics is required
  • 3-5 years experience in digital advertising data, ad platforms, or agency reporting is required – must understand and know digital advertising metrics and operations
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and SQL
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistical modeling and forecasting
  • Strong computer skills are mandatory, including Google/MS Office Suite, Google Marketing Platform/360, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and strong Excel skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Economics, or Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to extract meaningful business insights
  • Studying and learning data deeply to see trends, optimizations, and opportunities for program innovation and enhancement
  • Leveraging critical, connect-the-dots thinking to ensure the omnichannel strategy is devised, communicated, and managed through teams
  • Consuming competitive analysis and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Led internal and external teams to share and leverage all data sets
  • Overseeing the DSA roadmap to ensure analytics are delivered on time and aligned with business goals. Liaison with external analytics teams to align total modeling/analytics efforts
  • Building and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders with real-time business intelligence
  • Utilizing data-driven insights to shape business strategies, product roadmaps, and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborating with marketing, sales, and product teams to refine audience engagement strategies
  • Developing audience segmentation and profiling strategies to enhance targeting and engagement
  • Identifying opportunities for business expansion and revenue growth through data analysis
  • Conducting forecasting and predictive analysis to support business planning and decision-making
  • Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership
  • Optimizing business processes through data-driven insights and efficiency improvements
  • Evaluating and measuring the success of strategic initiatives, making recommendations for refinement

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Analytics Certifications are preferred
  • 1-2 yrs experience devising and running testing in marketing disciplines, paid media or general digital is preferred
  • MBA
  • Experience with audience segmentation, media strategy, or customer analytics
  • Experience with eCommerce businesses, subscription or services-based companies is preferred
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in business intelligence
  • Previous experience in consulting, media, or digital marketing environments
