Summary
Join Granicus' Digital Services Implementation Team as a Business Analyst, working remotely from Costa Rica. You will collaborate with government clients, eliciting and documenting requirements for AMANDA software implementations. Responsibilities include analyzing data, creating BRDs and other documentation, and ensuring alignment with government expectations and software capabilities. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams. This full-time, permanent position requires 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and advanced SQL skills. The ideal candidate possesses strong requirement gathering, analysis, and process optimization skills, along with a deep understanding of government processes and the GovTech sector.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst
- Technical Skills: Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries
- Software Knowledge: Experience working with AMANDA software or similar platforms
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to work closely with government stakeholders, software developers, project managers, and quality assurance teams
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Strong skills in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and communicating business and technical requirements
- Process Optimization: Experience optimizing government workflows and improving operational efficiency
- Client Focus: Ability to ensure client satisfaction through effective requirement translation and solution delivery
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of government processes and how they integrate with software solutions
Responsibilities
- Work closely with government clients and stakeholders to understand their specific processes, objectives, and challenges
- Elicit, document, and prioritize clear and actionable requirements for AMANDA software implementations and enhancements within the gov tech sector
- Utilize advanced SQL querying to analyze data and gain insights into government processes, aiding in requirements identification
- Analyze and map current and future government processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams tailored to government agencies
- Ensure that requirements are comprehensive, well-structured, and aligned with both government expectations and software capabilities
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of requirements within the gov tech context
- Coordinate with software developers, project managers, and QA teams to accurately translate government business requirements into software features
- Participate in the testing and validation of AMANDA software solutions for government agencies to ensure alignment with defined requirements and quality standards
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of government-specific scenarios
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements within the gov tech sector
- Identify opportunities for software enhancements and process improvements based on government user feedback and evolving needs
- Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
- Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies
