Business Analyst

Summary

The role of ISO's Business Analyst is to work closely with the leadership team as a trusted advisor on strategic, organizational, and operational projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity, and operational efficiency. The candidate should have proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel skills, strong business acumen, and at least 3 years of experience as a Logistics Analyst at a top-tier 3PL or Freight Tech solution.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel skills are required
• Strong business acumen, able to identify and articulate key business requirements with business partners
• 3+ years as a Logistics Analyst at a top-tier 3PL or Freight Tech solution

Responsibilities

• Work as a trusted advisor to leadership on strategic, organizational, and operational projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity, and operational efficiency
• Evaluate ongoing business performance to support day-to-day operations, execution and success
• Provide insights into growth levers for accelerating revenue, and operationalize new ideas through the creation of processes and workflows
• Triage and troubleshoot operational issues and optimize processes/infrastructure/systems for scale
• Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover root causes of customer pain points and work with business partners to drive process improvements
• Perform detailed data investigation and data validation in our systems to ensure data is captured and transformed correctly
• Proactively identify interesting data points, develop hypotheses and generate insights to help ongoing improvements of our services and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Looker experience and Salesforce skills are a plus
• Experience in the early stages of a fast-growing startup
• Experience with R, Python, Looker (or similar analytical packages) a plus
