Business Analyst

Summary

The job is for a Business Analyst at Massive Rocket, a fast-growing digital marketing and technology agency. The role requires eliciting and analyzing client requirements, documenting them in a clear format, acting as a liaison between clients and project teams, and applying Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• At least 2 years of experience working directly with clients in a business analysis or product management role
• Strong requirement elicitation and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements
• Experience working in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of the scrum framework
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, with desirable skills in Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge and experience in digital consumer engagement, marketing automation, ideally with experience in technologies such as Braze, Snowflake, Segment, and mParticle
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyze requirements from clients through interviews, workshops, and other requirement gathering exercises
• Structure and document client requirements in a clear and accessible format, using tools such as Asana, Jira, and Confluence
• Act as a liaison between clients and project teams, ensuring both parties are aligned on project requirements
• Facilitate communication across project teams to ensure everyone is informed and equipped to meet project requirements
• Apply Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management processes, incorporating best practices in Agile and project documentation
• Work closely with technical teams to integrate Braze with customer applications, ensuring seamless deployment and functionality
