Business Analyst

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education, professional training, and experience that provide the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, report development, and business analysis, documentation, data extract analysis/documentation
• Extensive computer software skills with programs such as Microsoft Excel, reporting tools (Power BI, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, SSRS, etc)
• Experience in writing SQL queries and working with data in complex Excel scenarios
• Healthcare experience is required
• Experience integrating data analysis into business operations (i.e., assisting with business intelligence

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis and data-driven initiatives in the area of reporting, data extracts, quality management, requirements documentation and support as well as collaborating with business team members and stakeholders
• Gather information about a given initiative or project, review the critical data elements, develop documentation that describes data extracts, data ingestion and reporting-related processes and document data quality-related work items
• Partner with Client Success on new and existing reporting and data extract functionality, as well as rules regarding the processing of data
• Serve as the conduit of technical information between the client and various technology teams by ensuring technology requests align with client business requirements by gathering requirements for custom development and reporting
• Track our performance against commitments to our clients, specifically SLAs
