Summary

Vimeo is seeking an experienced financial analyst to support its FP&A efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, and data visualization tools like Tableau. They should be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and 4+ years of experience in a data analytics role (preferably in a SaaS business). The base salary range is $81,900 to $125,500 for candidates located in the U.S., and Vimeo offers additional benefits such as bonuses, RSUs, paid time off, 401k match, wellbeing resources, and more.

Requirements

• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges
• A sense of ownership - capable of independently initiating and driving projects from beginning to end
• Proficient in interpreting complex datasets, extracting valuable insights for informed decision-making. Skilled in identifying patterns and translating business questions into effective analytical solutions
• Extensive SQL experience working with large datasets
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, keyboard shortcuts, etc.)
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau or similar data visualization suites
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Economics, Statistics or Computer Science) and 4+ years of experience in a data analytics role (preferably in a SaaS business.)
• Comfortable communicating with senior executives
• A team player who enjoys working cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Drive and lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives in order to enable data standardization, increase data consumption, and boost data-driven decision making
• Analyze financial data (such as cohort and retention analyses) and provide forecast support for the FP&A team
• Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Build and maintain user-friendly and informative dashboards, reports, and presentations in order to enable day-to-day and strategic data-driven decision making
• Foster a relationship of trust and cooperation with stakeholders, creating an atmosphere of knowledge sharing and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Python and automation - preferred
• Experience in documentation and version control via Github - preferred
