Business Central Finance Consultant

Summary

Join Customs Support Group (CSG), Europe’s leading customs services provider, as a Business Central Finance Consultant! Based in Poland, you will play a key role in the company's digital transformation, implementing a group-wide Business Central finance system across 13 European countries. Working with local finance teams and MSD partners, you will configure the system, prepare master data, conduct testing, and create user manuals. This position requires strong Business Central implementation experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in project management methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central's finance module and proven experience in international contexts. You will be responsible for ensuring each localization aligns with group policies and for facilitating communication between team members and partners.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Business Central system implementation, preferably in an international context
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Fluency in English both verbal and written; additional European languages are a plus
• Comfortable with ambiguity and must be a self-starter
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, Agile)
• Strong functional knowledge and understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Data Migration experience using excel and configuration packages
• Professional experience implementing Dynamics 365 Business Central end to end
• Firm understanding of BC Finance module, as well as competency in financial/accounting business processes
• Confident, consultative communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both individually and within a team
• Experience in a working across multiple BC environments
• Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities workload
• Work to project scope, identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Customs Support Group
• Facilitate effective communication between team members and partners via project management tool Jira
• Strong Excel Skills

Responsibilities

• Setup repeatable configuration tailored to local market requirements
• Data configuration including sales price lists, Items, customers, vendors
• First line testing of all interfaces and configuration
• Creation of end user manuals for SME training
• Data migration through configuration packages
• Creation of tailored roles for easy screen navigation
• Test permission set changes to limit access in line with group policies
• Arrange UAT training and UAT Testing
