Business Continuity Management Lead

Summary

The job is for a Business Continuity Management Lead at SAVii, a remote-first organization offering 360° salary linked financial wellness services. The role involves designing, implementing, and enhancing the BCMS, conducting BIAs and risk assessments, formulating recovery strategies, creating and updating BCPs, coordinating tests, and fostering a business continuity culture.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of professional experience in business continuity management or related field
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing BCMS in complex business environments
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, business impact analysis, and recovery strategies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and facilitate exercises and training sessions
• Proficiency in using business continuity software and tools for planning, testing, and documentation
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and complete projects within defined timelines and budget constraints
• Demonstrated ability to influence and engage others in adopting a business continuity culture within the organization
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners to develop, implement, and test BCPs
• Experience in coordinating and leading cross-functional teams during incident response and recovery efforts

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, monitor and enhance the business continuity management system (BCMS) of SAVii
• Conduct business impact analyses (BIAs) and risk assessments
• Assist in the formulation of recovery and resumption strategies
• Develop and assist in the creation and enhancement of business continuity plans (BCPs)
• Coordinate, design, and facilitate business continuity test exercises
• Enhance the business continuity management competencies and culture of SAVii

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Business Continuity Planning (CBCP) from a recognized institution (DRII, BCI, etc.)
