Join Believe, a global leader in the digital music market, and become a key player in our Finance team as a Senior Management Controller. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in operational management, reporting, and business planning, acting as a business partner for French teams. This new position will enhance planning activities, track growth, profitability, and cash flow objectives, strengthen marketing cost budget monitoring, and track subsidiary financial performance. You will analyze the performance of artists and various business lines, participate in monthly reporting, conduct business analyses, support accounting teams, and monitor subsidiary performance. Responsibilities also include budget preparation, forecasting, deal structuring, contributing to strategic projects, and optimizing reporting tools and local processes.
Requirements
- You have a Bac +5 degree (finance option) and significant experience (5 to 7 years) in management control or financial audit, with a good understanding of accounting issues
- Rigorous, dynamic, proactive and with a good analytical sense, you have the ability to work in a fast-changing and international environment, which allows for career progression
- You distinguish yourself by your organizational and adaptability skills, your structured approach, and your interpersonal skills
- You must have a good command of English (written and spoken) and computer skills
Responsibilities
- Analyze the performance of artists and the different business lines in the France BU
- Participate in the preparation of monthly reports to help sales teams understand performance
- Be a driving force and propose ad hoc business analyses
- Support local & central accounting teams in analyzing and explaining the different variations in P&L lines (revenue/costs/EBITDA) and propose corrective actions if necessary
- Be responsible for monitoring the performance of our subsidiaries for which we do not establish the accounts
- Participate in the preparation of the budget with the local sales teams
- Carry out regular multi-year forecasts and ad hoc analyses. Analyses are carried out by label and genre, with a focus on key metrics
- Produce ad hoc reports to make our budget more reliable
- Help the A&R team analyze artist deals and structure them optimally
- Contribute to strategic projects: Intervene on cross-functional projects with high stakes, bringing your financial and analytical expertise
- Contribute to the optimization of local reporting tools & processes
