Summary
Join AUTO1 Group's People Department as a Business Development Manager and play a key role in driving our People Growth Plan. You will partner with Production and Purchasing teams to ensure talent needs align with business objectives, lead cross-functional collaboration on hiring, develop and implement recruitment initiatives, and analyze KPIs to optimize efficiency. This role requires strong project management skills, business acumen, and exceptional communication. You will work remotely within Germany, reporting to the Director People Germany. This is a unique opportunity to shape talent strategies and make a lasting impact in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, project management, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and drive results
- A degree in business, management, or a related field, showcasing a solid foundation in strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
- A solution-oriented mindset, capable of making quick decisions and thriving in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- Business acumen and a growth-hacking mindset to identify opportunities and implement innovative solutions
- Fluency in English (required)
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to the Production and Purchasing teams, ensuring their talent needs align with business growth objectives
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with department heads to monitor and track hiring progress, ensuring alignment with headcount goals
- Develop and implement scalable recruitment initiatives, leveraging diverse talent sources, including international markets and relocation agencies
- Analyze recruitment KPIs to improve funnel efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and optimize cost-per-hire
- Conduct regular market reviews with stakeholders, identifying challenges and driving actionable solutions
- Enhance sourcing strategies and processes to support international growth and operational scalability
- Drive business expansion initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence within the People function
