Summary

Join Go Vocal, a global govtech scale-up, as a Business Development Manager to expand our client base across the Benelux. You will be a key driver of growth, responsible for signing new cities and shaping our presence in this key market. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, and building strong relationships with public sector clients. You will need to tailor your approach to public sector needs and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of sales experience, including SaaS sales to the public sector, and proficiency with CRM and outreach tools. Based in Flanders with fluency in Dutch and English, you will regularly join the Brussels office.

Requirements

  • You have 3–5 years of sales experience , with a minimum of 2 years in SaaS sales, ideally with experience selling to the public sector
  • You are outcome-driven , self-motivated , and thrive on owning your market and pipeline from prospecting to closing
  • You are proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce) , outreach automation (Outreach.io) , and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and use a data-driven approach to manage your funnel
  • You are a consultative seller, comfortable with cold calling and can confidently engage prospects over the phone at different stages of the sales process
  • You understand the importance of forecast accuracy and discovery frameworks; we use SPICED
  • You are an excellent communicator who connects with people across channels and formats
  • You are collaborative by default and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven team
  • You are based in Flanders and can regularly join us in our Brussels office
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Grow our client base
  • Own the full sales cycle, from discovery to demo to close
  • Source leads through outbound outreach, referrals, and by being our boots on the ground at public sector events
  • Build public sector relationships
  • Develop a deep understanding of local government challenges and position Go Vocal as a trusted partner
  • Tailor your sales approach to public sector needs and decision-making dynamics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally
  • Drive tender and proposal processes with support from Ops, marketing, and product
  • Work together with the sales and Flanders teams to align on strategy
