Business Development Manager

Summary

The job is for a Business Development Manager in the Intralogistics/Aviation sector at Rittal LLC. The role involves driving business through various initiatives, collaborating with different teams, and executing large projects within the Intralogistics & Aviation Vertical.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree. Prefer a degree in a technical field such as engineering, business Management or Business Administration
• Equivalent sales experience (10+years). Business Development in electrical/automation a plus
• Travel up to 50%
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficient and detail oriented with CRM
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
• Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
• High energy, initiative-taking, and goal oriented

Responsibilities

• Drive business through cold calling, pipelining, and closing business
• Collaborate with Marketing, Inside Sales, Regional AM’s and the VMM to coordinate interrelated projects
• Execute and manage projects within the defined scope
• Responsible for executing and managing large (multi-million) dollar programs (and/or multiple sub-projects) in the area of Intralogistics/Aviation

Preferred Qualifications

Aviation Industry Experience a plus
