Summary

Join Seer Interactive, a remote-first digital marketing consultancy, as a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for achieving six-figure monthly revenue targets, managing the sales process from lead qualification to client onboarding, and developing comprehensive marketing strategies. This role requires strong digital marketing expertise, proven sales experience, and the ability to build relationships with C-level executives. You will leverage data-driven insights and sales methodologies like MEDDIC to identify and secure new clients. Seer offers a competitive salary ($75,000-$125,000/year), benefits, and a collaborative work environment. The position is open to US-based candidates who can work continental US hours and may be based remotely or in Philadelphia or San Diego.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing / Digital Business Development
  • Have a proven track-record of exceeding goals in a high-growth environment and the agility to own multiple projects at once
  • Be able to get to the heart of a clientโ€™s business challenges and recommend the right solutions to fully support their needs
  • Have the ability to connect, build incredibly strong relationships, and speak in a way that resonates with various stakeholders
  • Be comfortable pitching to decision-makers at Enterprise-level companies
  • Have an arsenal of marketing & business development tools at your disposal (SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, BuiltWith, etc.)
  • Be diplomatic and offer insights and alternative solutions
  • Be open to trying something new and have experience with automation & AI
  • Be an expectation setter and communicator both internally at Seer and externally with clients
  • Have proven experience in building and managing your own sales pipeline, including initiating outbound efforts to engage with potential clients and creating opportunities where none previously existed
  • Be adept at outbound prospecting techniques, including cold outreach, data enrichment tactics, follow-ups, and leveraging digital tools to connect with target clients (enterprise, $50MM+, c-suite, decision makers, etc)
  • Have proficiency in using sales methodologies, particularly MEDDIC, to assess potential clients, guide sales conversations, and drive effective decision-making
  • Have a deep understanding of MEDDIC that enables you to qualify opportunities effectively, forecast sales accurately, and maintain a focus on high-value prospects

Responsibilities

  • Achieve strong, six-figure monthly revenue targets within the first three to six months, working to bring in revenue from both inbound leads & outbound lead gen efforts
  • Own and manage all processes from lead qualification, needs + strategy consultation, and pitch processes through to the client kick-off meeting
  • Ensure each new partner shares our values and will treat our team as an extension of their own
  • Solve strategic problems that are connected to driving revenue
  • Collaboratively create and present comprehensive SEO, PPC, and Analytics strategies to prospective clients including their C-level executive team
  • Consult with prospective clients to illustrate how those efforts dovetail with long-term business strategy and goals
  • Travel to the prospectโ€™s site and further develop the relationship (at times)
  • Conduct preliminary competitive SEO, PPC, and Analytics analyses for inbound leads, partnering with our divisional teams to research & identify potential opportunities/threats
  • Prepare and deliver site-specific proposals and negotiate contracts with the help and guidance of our legal team when needed
  • Become a thought leader in the space; providing content for the Seer blog, speaking at conferences and attending networking events to speak to our work and identify new business opportunities for Seer
  • Ensure only the smoothest transition between Business Strategy and account teams when a project is kicked off
  • Manage inbound leads and develop your own pipeline through strategic outbound efforts
  • Identify and targeting new business opportunities, leveraging tools and data, and crafting tailored approaches to prospective clients
  • Demonstrate expertise in both inbound and outbound strategies, ensuring a robust sales pipeline that aligns with the company's growth targets
  • Leverage sales methodologies, with a preference for MEDDIC, to qualify leads, identify key decision-makers, uncover pain points, and drive deals to successful closure
