Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably a Master of Business Administration
  • 6-8 years’ experience in a technical industry with a combination of sales/product/marketing/management
  • Possess high level computer skills especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills
  • B2B industrial experience Required
  • Responsible for southern US customers

Responsibilities

  • Manages all commercial aspects of Strategic Sales Accounts
  • Develops and nourishes sound working relationships with key accounts
  • Identifies and develops new accounts
  • Determines needs of current & new products and relays pertinent information to appropriate contact points in the plants (forecasts, product requirements, quotations, etc)
  • Manages personally or coordinates delivery of responses to above requests with customer
  • Supports Marketing in the quotation development process. Negotiates price and terms to close on opportunities at acceptable margins. Follows up on open quotations
  • Manages any issues related to product quality, payment or credit terms
  • Leads contract/pricing negotiations with support from Marketing and upper Management
  • Acts as facilitator for customer visits with appropriate sales/marketing managers and Applications & Technology staff (regular and as required to support opportunities)
  • Remains updated on the client’s situation and reacts proactively to any change in the client situation
