You will play a key role in expanding market presence and driving revenue growth by identifying, sourcing, and closing new clients. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of business development experience in the mortgage services industry
- A proven sales hunter and closer with a demonstrated ability to own the sales cycle from lead generation to close
- Strong discovery, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven history of exceeding sales targets
- Highly collaborative and coachable with a team-first mindset
- Willingness to travel for conferences, regional events, and client meetings
Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and industry events
- Conduct thorough market research to uncover new lead opportunities
- Qualify prospective leads and generate daily outreach to consistently grow the sales funnel
- Build and manage a productive sales pipeline, navigating each phase of the sales process with precision
- Execute on sales plan in conjunction with Director of Business Development to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Engage in contract negotiations with prospective accounts
- Develop compelling proposals highlighting solutions, value propositions, and key differentiators
- Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships by delivering elite service and leveraging deep industry knowledge
- Provide valuable feedback from the field to inform internal teams on sales strategies and competitive landscape
- Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasts within Salesforce CRM
- Produce weekly reports on successes and areas for improvement to optimize sales activities and strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling at the "C" level
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and the MS O365
- Bachelorβs degree
